Solvent Black 27 is a bluish-black coloured compound which appears as a powder in its physical form having a chemical formula of C32H18CrN6O8.C11H25NO.H with a molecular weight of 854.857 grams per mol. It has a light fastness value of 6 with a hydrogen potential rating in between 7 to 8. This chemical compound can be used in wood stains, printing inks, aluminium foil colouring, paints, coatings, leather finishes, stoving enamels, packaging industries etc. This powdered agent has a melting point of 115 degree Celsius and thermal resistance of 300 degree Celsius.
